A Holiday Classic Comes to Colorado

The Colorado Ballet is a dancing group that specializes in stage performance ever since 1951. Its main home is located at 11th and Santa Fe streets, where they rehearse for oncoming recitals and teach young aspiring dancers, and they perform publicly at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House and the June Swaner Gates Concert Hall at the Denver Center for Performing Arts depending on the size and grandeur of the show. Classes are available for the youngest of students, where they can advance their dancing skills and perform depending on their skill level and development, so any longing performer can don the slippers.
This year, the Colorado Ballet will be presenting its 56th annual production of The Nutcracker, a Christmas tale about a girl, a toy nutcracker, and her fantastic and wonderful dream on Christmas Eve, features a grand total of 132 dancers and over 300 dazzling costumes. Starting November 26th, the play will continue on every weekend up until the final afternoon performance on Christmas Eve, with varying times and prices depending on the show day and the seating. Discounts are available through group, student, military and a special promotion for the first two weekend showings. It’s recommended to buy tickets as soon as possible, since the performance is award winning and the last two years have sold out completely.
