Light Up Your Night
Are you a huge science enthusiast? Did you love going to museums as a kid, learning all there is to know about how the world and the universe works with interactive exhibits and displays to boggle any mind? Do you still continue to follow your favorite museums or study in a scientific field as a college student today? The Young Professional Membership at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science may be just what you need to jumpstart your career or start anew using your love for science and learning, and since Alexan Cherry Creek will be built merely ten minutes away from the heart of Denver, you’ll have easier access to all the amazing benefits the membership can grant you.
The Denver Museum of Nature and Science showcases interactive and fun exhibits for any kind of science, from the life studies of biology and anatomy, to the physical such as physics, chemistry, and geology, to even further reaches in the past or future such as astronomy and paleontology. With new exhibits, IMAX, and high quality documentary films cycling through every few months, and with member exclusive events and benefits, it’s hard to lose interest in any of your interests. The Young Professional Membership is geared towards young adults that plan to pursue a career involving the sciences or information, or that desire to volunteer or learn more about how natural history institutions work. All YP members get free admittance to the museum, a one-year subscription to the museum magazine, the Catalyst, a monthly newsletter to keep updated on upcoming events, offers, and volunteer work, and partial tax deduction, along with discounts in the IMAX theatre, shops, and special classes and workshops that the facility holds.
This November 18th, from 9:30 pm to 1 am, the museum and Youth Professional Membership program will be hosting the After Dark Soiree, an after-hours cocktail party and exhibition saved exclusively for its members. Featuring the exhibition “Illumination,” members are encouraged to join the festivities, which will host live entertainment, snacking foods, alcoholic beverages, a dessert table, and a silent auction all while studying the science of light. Tickets are $50 per member and $60 for non-members, and former dress is recommended.
Pursue your dreams in Denver, all while having fun. Visit the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and consider a Young Professional membership before moving in, and then settle down at Alexan Cherry Creek Apartments when we open on January 2017.
